In collaboration with Project SEARCH, APSE held a unique, two-day program at its 2016 National Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio. The free program for high school transition students with disabilities, transition teachers, parents and family members offered students career strategies and provided hands-on experiences to prepare them for independence and success in the workplace.
The program featured keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and panel discussions featuring students, recent graduates, employers, employees, and family members. There was also ample opportunity for networking and socializing.
