Under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), states are required to submit a plan to the US Department of Labor by April 1, 2016. (This date has been extended from the original due date of March 3, 2016.)
Each state is required to issue a draft plan for public comment. The chart below indicates the status of each state’s plan, including a link to the plan (if available), and the date comments are due.
If the deadline for comments for your state’s plan has not already passed, consider providing comments. If the deadline has already passed, the plan is still worth reviewing to identify your state’s intentions for implementation of WIOA.
