Microphone with APSE logo. The podcast.

Kick-off National Disability Employment Awareness Month #NDEAM with an APSE Policy Update! Julie Christensen presented virtually on October 1st, 2020.

During the last three months, APSE has convened two national surveys on the impact of COVID-19 on disability employment services and outcomes. A summary of findings was compiled and sent to Capitol Hill as part of our ongoing advocacy efforts around COVID-19 relief.

Listen along with APSE National staff Julie and Erica Belois-Pacer to learn more about our findings from the two surveys, and what this information means for policy and advocacy as we head into the November election.

“The stats were interesting and helped to paint a picture of the current landscape for people with disabilities.”

“As a service provider, I found this very helpful and insightful. It has been very frustrating for me to not have the communication with the VR Counselors as much as I did pre-Covid, but I am trying to adapt.”

“Great information, thank you for sharing the survey information. Great way to kick of NDEAM.”
