National APSE signed a letter addressed to the Acting Assistant Secretary Mark Shultz of the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS). The letter opposes the opening Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) regulations (specifically the definition of Competitive, Integrated Employment.) We are encouraging APSE State Chapters to sign on by sending an email to Julie Christensen, National APSE Director of Policy and Advocacy at julie@apse.org.
The deadline has been extended to Noon, Wednesday, November 20, 2019
