- DC Employment First Policy (2014): The District of Columbia’s Department of Disability Services cross-disability policy.
- DC Mayoral Proclamation on E1 (2012): A Mayoral Proclamation was issued declaring the District of Columbia as an Employment First state.
- DC P&A Employment Report (2012): University Legal Services, the Protection and Advocacy program for the District of Columbia, released The Work Option for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities: The Obstacles and the Possibilities.
