A microaggression is like a mosquito bite, it minimally hurts if it happens occasionally. But when it is happening every day, it becomes a serious issue. Most of the time microaggressions are driven by biases, which could be unconscious or consciously engraved in the individual. Many employees are experiencing microaggressions and the emotional tax associated with them. In this webinar, Dr. Olivo will discuss the characteristics of microaggressions in the context of professional work spaces, how to identify them, and how to navigate these incidents.
