This Discovery and Person-Centered Planning workshop for Lane County Employment First Job Coaches walks learners through taking a deeper dive into gathering a person's skills and interests to facilitate career growth and advancement and provides opportunity for practice. Then students will learn how to conduct informational interviews with businesses to identify unmet needs and ways to help the business increase revenue or save money. Last, participants will create a proposal to a business clearly outlining the benefits of the new job tasks to practically apply how to put the informaiton gained from both sources of information toward new opportunities for the workers they support.
