Session Description:
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) was signed into law in 2014. WIOA authorizes the public vocational rehabilitation system and public workforce development system. What has been the impact of WIOA? What's working? What are the challenges? At this webinar, attendees will be provided an overview of WIOA, and discuss where we are at, at the 7-year mark in terms of impacting employment and career paths for people with disabilities. Included in the discussion will be dialogue regarding possible changes when the law is reauthorized.
