As more businesses continue to hire individuals with a range of abilities, business leaders need support and guidance from experts in the field of adult services. This presentation will focus on how to foster and sustain relationships with community businesses, through the perspective of both the adult service provider and employer. When we build meaningful business partnerships with adult service providers, we allow individuals of all abilities to experience independence and success in the workplace.

Disability Awareness Training

Approximately 1 in 5 Americans within every age, race, gender and sexuality report having a limitation that affects their daily lives. Disabled people can and do work in many capacities, offering unique value to employers in areas of innovation, problem-solving and adaptation due to their experience of navigating society with their disabilities. This awareness presentation – led by people with disabilities – prepares employers to interact effectively with people with a variety of disabilities.

We cover practical tools for creating inclusion and access for people with disabilities.
