Meet Robert (New Jersey)!

"Employment First matters because everyone should be given the chance to work if they want to be more self-sufficient. It also gives the person who works the respect they deserve from society."

Robert is an Assistant Coordinator/Transition Specialist with the State of NJ, Department of Human Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities, Employment First & Transition to 21 Unit. His responsibilities are to provide information and support to customers or clients, responding to technical inquiries and/or complaints regarding products, services, or programs, or collecting payments in a government or office setting regarding employment and transition services for special needs population through presentations, webinars and community outreach.

Robert also speaks about personal life experiences to the audience. He shares that both networking and his experience as a person with a disability have made the biggest impact on his career.
